This year, our Marketing Coordinator, Allie Tafeen, and Communications Specialist, Sofia Seni, had the privilege of attending the 2024 Women of Steel Business Conference. They connected with and learned from fellow women entrepreneurs, representing the spirit and vision of TLC’s owner, Trish Leonard.

The 2024 Women of Steel Business Conference is a compelling all-day event designed for women interested in investing in their future. As this year marks the second annual conference held at Arthrex, Naples it’s clear that it will become a staple event. Hosted by Cotrenia Hood, an inspirational leader within the women’s community, the conference brings together powerful women to speak and inspire both current and future generations of women. The influential panel of speakers included powerful women like Natalie Johnson (Co-Founder of Vidl Work), Shalaya Morissette (Chief of the Minority Business & Workforce Division, U.S. Department of Energy), Faith Broussard Cade (Founder of Fleur De Lis Speaks), Maxeme Tuchman (Co-Founder of Caribu), Dr. Malissa Wood (Chief Physician Executive & VP of Lee Health Heart Institute), Erin Smith (Sustainability Executive at Bank of America), and Michelle Zellner (Founder of Better Beings).
